UCLA Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S)

EH&S Overview

The Laboratory Safety Team at EH&S is comprised of specialists from various scientific backgrounds providing support to labs for compliance with campus policies and safety regulations. Their primary area of expertise is chemical safety but also focus on laboratory-related issues around the working environment. Laboratory safety also conducts consultations, site assessments, trainings and responds to lab emergencies.

All Tenants working in a laboratory must contact CNSI’s assigned EH&S Lab Safety Specialist to set up the lab ( All Tenants and their employees must review and comply with campus policies and safety regulations in addition to any Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
