Nanopixel Technologies LLC is a spin-off company from the laboratories of the world-renowned expert in lattice mismatched epitaxy and nanostructure epitaxy Prof. Diana Huffaker of UCLA. Nanopixel is developing sub-wavelength detector modules for infrared (IR) imaging to meet Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) requirements of next generation IR cameras in the Short Wave IR (SWIR) and Mid Wave IR (MWIR) wavelengths. The main marketplace Nanopixel’s detectors will satisfy is IR cameras for military and defense applications, such as security and surveillance, unmanned vehicle vision, and soldier portable vision.
